Official Bio
Liliana Baylon, LMFT-S, RPT-S, MBA, is a bilingual, bicultural, and biliterate therapist whose work sits at the intersection of mental health, cultural identity, and global migration. She earned her master’s degree in Counseling and Marriage, Family, and Child Therapy from the University of Phoenix and has spent more than a decade supporting families, couples, and children whose lives are shaped by trauma, lineage, and movement across borders.
Her clinical foundation was built within the Latinx community, where she provided therapy and supervision in both English and Spanish. Those early years informed the lens she brings to all her work today: an understanding that every client carries multiple worlds within them, their stories, their nervous system adaptations, and the cultural patterns that shape how they love and protect.
Liliana integrates advanced training across several modalities, including Play Therapy, EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy, and Synergetic Play Therapy. She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, a Synergetic Play Therapy Consultant, and an ICEEFT Certified EFT Therapist and Supervisor.
Beyond the therapy room, Liliana is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and consultant for organizations, schools, clinics, and conferences. Her work helps professionals understand the psychological and relational impact of cultural diversity and migration, and she is known for bridging research, lived experience, and clinical practice in ways that feel accessible, grounded, and deeply human.
